“Charge Types” is master data. To create “Charge Rates”, you will first need to create “Charge Types”.
Please note that in present release only “Charge Type” is relevant. When we release labor calculation functionality in future…only then “Charge Rates” will be used.

Explanation of form fields:
Start Date: This is the date from which this charge rate is valid. You can create multiple charge rates which would have different “Start Dates”…for a particular charge type.
Hourly Charge Rate: This is the charge rate.
OOH Multiplier & Holiday Multiplier: A particular multiplier can be applied to the hourly rate (when calculating the “Extended Price”) based on whether the Time-Entry Start Date-Time is outside office hours or on holiday.
To set “Charge Types” and “Charge Rates”, browse to “Zap PSA” app…then click on “Charge Types”, “Charge Rates” and enter the values.
You can create “Charge Rates” at global level and then over-ride those for each contract if needed.
